I've had a lousy day and even though so far I haven't heard anything I didn't know in this talk I'm enjoying listening to people and ideas that are just more real than a lot of what passes as the charade of reality currently being pimped by the for profit corporate media. Youtube is the new libary of Alexandria. If this grand experiment fails someone will burn it down and reduce us to scratching around the ruins for centuries. Tom Campbell is the scientist who wrote My Big TOE (Theory of everything) and his website is here.

As the corporate for profit war media crank up the propaganda for the war against Iran I didn't bother checking out a luxury liner going down. However I assure you this audio clip from the BBC with actors doing voice over of the Coastguard ordering Captain Schettino back to his sinking ship to rescue drowning passengers is unmissable.
It's pure Kali Yuga and I expect to see much more unveiling throughout this year of the cowardice and venality of those who seek and are awarded privilege and responsibility.

From time to time I can listen to someone and feel or sense straight away that the only reason they are sharing information is because it needs get out. I got that feeling straight away with Duncan O'Finionan and I've been putting his excellent Randy Maugans interviews up here so you can listen for yourself. This interview is raw and unedited but there are moments of strong laughter and it's those points when we connect with people and remember little details like real people have a sense of humour even through tragedy. Unlike the humourless David Wil(cock) or the (prick)ly Richard Hoagland.
There's a lot of hardcore information in this recording but life is hardcore my friends.

Crying With The Onion
Sometimes humour isn't there to entertain us it's there to facilitate bearing the unbearable. What might not be obvious to the amused observer is how fake the presenters and the commercial breaks are to the person who doesn't watch Television.
Should we really be laughing at the blowback of a music factory churning out the least desirable role models for our children possible? From the presenters to the celebrities to the commercials. Television is diseased.
All of this becomes extraordinarily crystal clear once TV is rejected in a persons life. I'd rather have a vagrant opposite me than listen to someone else's profit agenda spewing out. At least the vagrant is real.
Regrettably the only way that the United States can comment on the Western consumer models' sickness is with humour. The Onion, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are pretty much the only serious cultural commentary on commercialised politics, commercialised art and commercialised wars and one gets the impression that because it can only be tackled with comedy that many don't know how to take it seriously.

Unfortunately John Lash who is on fire at the beginning of this interview is interrupted with a ten minute plug that would put QVC to shame and he never quite gets his momentum back to the point where he was teaching us the occult roots of the Russian revolution and the counter revolutionary moves by Lenin and Trotsky as we learn of Edmund Wilson's To The Finland Station and a bunch of other recommendations that he never gets a chance to repeat as he usually does when he frames ideas such as America currently mirroring the history of the Russian revolution. An idea that Terence McKenna articulated as Rome fall five times a day.
John Lash's magic as one of our global elders/wise men is diminished by rushing him, interrupting him and adding superfluous commentary. There are few speakers of his calibre and every word of is golden goodness when he is in the flow.
John claims we need a narrative to rally round in order to succeed in throwing off our central banker criminals and I think that process needs to be completely organic. No more hierarchy. Decentralised decision making is the future.

2012 Mayan iPhone Ringtone Interrupts New York Philharmonic Performance
Synchromystics wont be struggling to pull a meaningful silk thread of narrative out of the story that a customer at the New York Philharmonic refused to turn off their iPhone Marimba tone ringing during a performance of Mahler's most spiritual and peaceful 9th symphony.
Yuppies will call it irony however I prefer the term synchromysticism to describe that during the final 9th wave of the Mayan calendar the me me me iPhone meme culture interrupted Mahlers last ever 9th symphony in the finale movement that is considered a celebration of mother Earth and nature. It was never heard by Mahler himself who died before getting the chance.
The Marimba is an instrument of Mayan origin. The cell ringtone of this instrument on an iPhone forced the conductor to stop. Even with shouts from the audience the person responsible tried to pretend it wasn't their phone which to me is all you need to know about the "pretend something doesn't exist" culture of fin de siecle consumer capitalism as the final wave washes over the deck of the Kali-Yuga Age-of-Iron Titanic. Look how ABC news treats the story. I feel ill every time I see this fake news faux reportage on US media clips these days. It reeks of smug deception as they segue from grinning light-entertainment mild disdain at home, to sober outrage of middle East war drum propaganda drumming for the military industrial complexes next conflict in the middle East.; It is a sickness and it is paid for with commercials.
