Christmas Greetings From Mia Khalifa
Mia Khalifa who lost her job due to speaking up for Palestine as I outlined back here, wishes us a great Christmas. I've been researching the industry she worked or maybe still works in with other partners. I don't know her status on that topic and I don't care. What I do care is that Mia is OK as I've been on the end of those death threats from the same gang, but I think we know the answer after watching her video clip. I have so much more that I'll be sharing but you might want to bookmark some of the links in essential resources I've added as I'm on Google's platform and remain here at their pleasure.
In fairness they've been very very good to me on quite a few issues and I'm grateful for that although they don't approve of me sometimes and that's fine.
I've already explained that Mia's no dummy but I think the video reveals to us a lot more about her character and it's clear she's charming and fun. There's a lot more fascinating information to write up and there's also a very troubling side to the business which nobody has published with evidence yet, and I'm going to do that when the time is right, which is as soon as people are ready to learn the information. Now is too early, but not for much longer.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas
In the original Chrimbo Carol below, Perry Como is in his element. He knows everyone on the set and they all know him. 44 years at RCA Victor after signing on, in '43 and his hand in the stagecraft is light but revealing. As is his hand when he playfully spanks a worker. The set construction is viewed as a simulacrum of a stage upon a stage. It's a really good song. I hope you enjoy it and never think about the first one again 😎

SALE SALE SALE

I was struck how empty Gaysorn Plaza was. The luxury brands are commencing a world of pain over the next five to ten years and I think it's safe to say that the awful moniker of masstige brands may finally be buried along with all the other marketing hubris we inflated ourselves on in the bubbled up economy.
I was however delighted to see a few early birds taking a flyer and doing 40% discount sales which is unheard of in the run up to Christmas (widely celebrated in this Buddhist country - not the day - the festive season) but even more pleased to see that one brand has taken an interesting approach to the way that they advertise a sale.
Good recessionary thinking. Think up not down.

Recombinant Christmas Culture

Across Asia the desire to get into the Western tradition of Christmas spirit is quite notable. There are variations from country to country. Thailand as a Buddhist country or Indonesia as an practioners of Islam for instance don't celebrate the day itself. Thus Santa Claus (mashed up with Minnie Mouse above) are ubiquitous right across the continent at this time of the year, but often references to biblical characters such as Jesus or characters from the Nativity are erased. Worth a mention was the countdown on Christmas Eve at midnight. The crowd at the nightclub we visited, really went for it with more gusto than I've seen in many European capitals. Its fair to say that Christmas celebrations are beginning to transcend culture as a period of celebration that city dwellers (in the main) can find accessible.
This young lady was hamming up a little at the bar and shortly after left as if nothing had happened. A sort of faux intoxiqué if you like. I've experienced this behaviour across different cultures, genders and age groups and concluded that reasoning with these folk is the same as trying to reason with a drunk - completely unpredictable. Although they know what they are doing, they can play oblivious at any point. I do like the face in bar action going on here. Its the little touches that can convince. Merry Christmas Everyone.
