Bugging Out & Exposing Myself

Years ago in the steamy tropics, post-shower and barely draped in a towel, I lounged on my townhouse's first-floor balcony, sparking up a joint in a flimsy white plastic chair-shielded from the midday blaze, doing sweet nada.

Then, bam! This alien bug dive-bombs in, a total freakshow I'd never clocked before. Gobsmacked at first, I shifted to full-on fascination, staring it down. Unbeknownst to me, my weed-fueled vibes were beaming pure cosmic love its way. Pot's got that hippie magic, right?

We locked eyes for minutes, me mentally cooing sweet nothings, channeling good juju. Until-wham!-lightning-quick and with zero chill, the critter launches onto my towel like a desperate ex. I explode upward in sheer panic, towel plummeting, flashing the whole damn street my modestly equipped birthday suit. Mortified, I bolt indoors, slap on some clothes, and eventually, after the heart beat explosion, I tip toed cautiously back out. My upended chair? Now its regal perch, as captured in the photo.

Turns out, I'd accidentally wooed the poor luv, a rare interspecies flirtation. High praise from a bug, though? But the evening's plot thickened: As I hit the sack and flicked the light, there it was, the Cerambycidae Lamiinae Aristobia Horridula (let's call her Horri for short), glued to the doorframe glass, pining away and peering inside the room at me. Spooky, funny, and a tad flattering-but nope, not crossing that line.

Come morning, Horri had ghosted. She'd invested hours in this crush, teaching me: Even bugs get the horn for love. (Pro tip: Aristobia horridula's a longhorn beetle from Southeast Asia-fierce looks, harmless vibes. Nature's goth heart crush.)

Onslaught - 2007 - 2023

Well of course I love this next commercial and the values it stands for, but as I've said in the comments over here and here, and indeed to the client Unilever (the owners of the Dove brand), I don't think it's honest for a multinational to put 'keep-it real-credentials' in the 'Campaign for real beauty' while they sell skin whitening creams to among others, Indian subcontinent and South East Asian countries that are by nature blessed with dark skin.

Just doing the focus groups for these kind of products can be quite tough for those of us who think a bit about the effects on the culture of the societies that we make advertising for. Take Thailand for example, based on qualitative research, some office secretaries (for example) will choose who they take to lunch in a group based on the whiteness of skin.

The darker skins are considered too 'rural' for those who want to climb the whiter skinned ethnic Chinese communities that effectively run S.E. Asia in business terms.

The aspiring English classes also used to take a dim view of darker skin in previous centuries because it indicated an agrarian lifestyle working in the fields. So I'm not trying to speed up cultural and media literacy development in these countries (or maybe I am), but I am suggesting to Unilever that specifically on it's skin whitening creams, it puts a disclaimer on ALL those products that Unilever embraces skin of all colours.

Otherwise its a bit hypocritical to be a campaigner for real beauty, when it's fake beauty and discrimination that powers one of the fastest growing skin care categories in many parts of the developing world.

Update: I see that the original video was pulled for copyright reasons but that a remix is now resurfacing for the same issues of resource exploitation but this time the targets are Nestle.

I was working in Bangkok when this tune was peaking, and my girlfriend had a few bars and restaurants and a nightclub, so I brought a female DJ over to celebrate year 2000 or the millennium as it were.

Death of a Thai Princess

When the eldest daughter of the Thai King, Princess Bajrakitiyabha collapsed last month in a coma at the age of 44, our first suspicions, as with all premature conditions and deaths, were the injections.

In 2020, I talked to my Thai daughter in Bangkok about researching mRNA injections before she took the shot, I learned another father in the same situation wrote a brilliant letter from a father to a daughter. It eloquently outlined all the key reasons to reject the shots in favour of a wait and see strategy. I thought a letter from someone else would be more persuasive than me sending over a load of links supporting my case.

Only researchers know this information as legacy media consumers are like mushrooms, kept in the dark and fed bullshit, but by coincidence one of the world's leading microbiologists is a Thai national who lives in Germany.

When I discovered Professor Sucharit Bakhdi's work from the early days of the plandemic I thought to myself 'brilliant, a Thai national respected on the world stage who was saying the same as us'. Thailand isn't noted for its Nobel prize winners and world authorities but what better evidence could I provide than a Thai world leader in the field?

When I next spoke to my daughter, I asked if she'd read the father to daughter letter I'd sent. She replied no and that she'd had her first injection. Stunned and upset, I asked 'why didn't you read the letter I forwarded?'. The response was obfuscation, but I've done enough focus groups and depth interviews to know the answer.

She'd already made her mind up when I first spoke to her and wouldn't tell me at the time. It's very Thai to conceal intentions. It's a cultural affliction related to losing face which is problematic in Asia. The only ones who escape it are people like Professor Bakhdi, who has an international education as his parents were diplomats.

So as a last ditch attempt I asked did she not want children in the future, as even back then we knew about the menstruation problems? The blithe response was she could adopt if necessary. 

It was too late to introduce Professor Bakhdi.

Can we adopt slowly dying of none or one or some of the hundreds of side effects we now know exist from the released Pfizer documents, that were meant to be locked up and concealed from the public for 75 years.

The mushrooms don't know this information as the legacy media don't publish criticism, and invariably a new distraction emerges when actionable information surfaces. Bill Gates, is being interviewed  to be broadcast tonight on BBC TV for the longest blowjob ever (already broadcast on R4). There will be  no mention that the Gates Foundation provides millions for them to be 'on message'. That's what the mushrooms will never learn when psychos are presented by the sycophant media as genius philanthropists on the world stage. He is a very mediocre insight provider. Cleverer than I ,but thats not a high bar.

If there are any women of child bearing age who have experienced the same as me, I'm interested in having another child with a pure blood. Who else am I going to leave my estate to? The only caveat is a mother with the intelligence to discern the corporate media are not to be trusted.

It looks like Pfizer are going to be withdrawn from the Thai market with damages needing to be settled. This information isn't even in the Thai media for the same reasons outlined above. My guess is that even Thai Royalty are going to be up against too much global pharmaceutical pressure and a deal will be cut.

We shall see.

Swedish Resort

I met Lena in a holiday resort through her girlfriend; a colleague of mine.

Lena and I spent fun times together in her butch as fuck truck, while she played her Swedish Lesbian disco mix tape back to back... You know how it is. 

At first I didn't like it, but after the fifth or 6th time...I was hooked.

Anyway as luck would have it... seemingly out of nowhere, Lena had to leave Town for a bit, I went from flip flop economics (mostly barefoot) for as long as I could remember to banging tunes and a relaxed elbow hanging out a truck window, smoking a fag... 

wheels to cruise in; and once or twice giving Lena's chick a lift home... as it were.

Multi Ethnic Southampton - Reasons To Be Cheerful (Part II)

I was never a big fan of Southampton growing up. It was just grey after living in Deutschland and it wasn't very friendly either.

After the Wirtschaftwunder (Economic Miracle) of living in Germany, a synthetic creation much as British food-stamps were to last long after the war years..... if you get my drift.

Japan and Germany were hit hardest so it's karmically in the controllers favour to rebuild them quickest, while Great Britain was reduced to years of poverty and decline, for essentially provoking war (for those who have read the focus group papers.)

However, my return to Southampton in 2017 has been a renaissance experience for this port city, that was so gritty growing up in the 80s. It's now one of my favourite places and I feel an ease in this city that I've rarely experienced elsewhere.

That is to say, after much exploring and history research, I know this place and because there have been so many changes, it strikes me somewhat as more of a journey partner than a destination. The much maligned Southampton City Council have done a very competent job of upgrading the city and marina areas.

I talked in the last post (Part I), about the commitment from the City council to electric scooters which is easily the most transformative step a city can make for unleashing the freedom of travelling electrically on widely available racks of scooters, distributed around the city and not just in the centre.

In addition, Southampton has attracted a strong and vibrant ethnic mix of immigrants. I'm lucky where I live. St Mary (please note that's singular and an uncountable noun) is both right on the hotspot of that cultural diversity including a strong Hong Kong contingent, Portuguese, Turkish, Somalian, Romanian and on and on it goes, all equally identifiable by their clothes and appearance and adjacent to some awesome greenery.

I'm slap bang in the middle of one of the most interesting neighbourhoods in the city, but also I'm right next to the public parks, of which Southampton has some of the best in the country. It's probably the most consistently relaxing place I can think of other than living on a tropical beach in Jomtien or a particular pub I used to frequent in Freemantle, which irrespective of how tough a day I'd had was a gravity-free experience entering... through the doors and being transported to an island of relaxation, leaving the outside world behind.

I want to elaborate about ethnic and cultural diversity though. 

I'm very aware of the long term plans for humanity. They are laid out in the winner of the first Charlemagne prize (that Churchill won twice) Count Couldenhove Kalergi. 

The prize is given to whoever contributes most towards European integration but it's the most racist endeavour anyone could conjur up, as it's not about diversity but racial and ethnic miscegenation.

The most racist people I know are invariably indoctrinated politically, and who can't wait for a regimented mullato (I love coffee-coloured skin) species (Kalergi's words not mine) with fewer languages, one religion; genderless yet stunning and brave, and also the creation of an insect worker... as adumbrated in Huxley's brave new world; men breast feeding babies, lesbians having to accept male penis and so forth is a reality, not wild histrionics.

... and before you invoke the rainbow. It belongs to everyone, including heterosexuals, the working classes, the upper classes, the pious, uncouth, male or female, Asian or not. The rainbow was bestowed on all of us not a radical and toxically empowered clique who are waay more powerful and rewarded in kind, than most have yet to be "caught-on-to", but some, most certainly will if sentient of change.

You see what makes for attractive racial diversity are the differences not the uniformity of the human genome. When I go to Japan, I don't want to see Chinese people, I want to be able to distinguish between the Asian races (for example) which is not as hard as it seems to people who haven't travelled widely in that neck of the woods. There was a time in Bangkok where we could tell which towns the females (they were always females) came from. Nakhon Si Thammarat to Songkhla, Pitsanulouk to Udon Thani. It's one of the most fun party tricks to play in the red light districts of go go bars and neon.

What the social engineers and multi generational planners want and are now destroying with cancel culture and synthetic racism through BLM is the real diversity of the human story which of course from time to time has been nothing to boast about, particularly when thinking of Empire and the stooges that now endorse the CIA running for Congress, and SIS transgender credentials while ignoring the heinous behaviour they partake in. Back to beauty and happiness though. Recently I came across a beguiling voice in podcasts that I found magnetic and also interested in some of the ideas I'm engaged with and writing about here. We were the same age (52) and had some crossover in our lives as we both lived in Belsize Park, London back in the day at around the same period, and we also both worked in the media business. I as an advertising prostitute and he as a Channel 4 honcho. I googled his name and discovered that he had died only days ago. The last time that happened to me was when I reading Marlon Brando's biography in Bangkok where I learned that he too had croaked. It's quite a poignant feeling when immersing ourselves in famous lives.

Well Jonathan Myles Lea has passed too, and anyone with an ounce of sense can see that what he fought for was beauty and the aesthetic, instead of the rancid blue haired, septum pierced obesity with tattoos who think anything vagina shaped is art.

They are brainwashed, and they have been given license to run the most powerful institutions in the UK from the Foreign Office to Stonewall and Terrence Higgins Trust. They are women haters and insist any Lesbian who refuses to consider a trans relationship is a TERF, a trans exclusionary radical feminist. Well I tell you something blue haired brigade cheerleaders. You too will have to accept and respect the cock (and tame the cunt) when your time comes. This has been, and always will be about male violence. Don't think a wearing a dress is going changes the insides of misogyny.

Anyway, I've clearly wrapped two posts together. One about truth and beauty, and the other about a world which is a threat to that and no amount of running away from the bad news can change it.

I wouldn't want to live in very big cities in the coming years. The poor will be ransacking the not so poor.

I've got a very good feeling Southampton is going to be in better shape, and that makes me cheerful.

One Summer - Gabe Watkins [on Jomtien Beach, Thailand]

I was alerted to Gabe Watkins latest ballad on Youtube, and my eyes were so startled and happy to recall the the film set. It was filmed on the very beach I lived on, as a beach bum on the Eastern Riviera of Thailand, sometimes known as Chonburi or Jomtien more precisely.

I know that horizon like the palm of my hand, I recall vividly the view in the video,  and in the middle is this island below, known locally as bum island (ก้น) with the sun setting on it, yet not so easy to see on a hazy day.

And now, 12,000 miles away it's staring me in the face.

You're Very Statuesque Charles

When I worked for my first below-the-line advertising agency called CounterAttack on The Albert Embankment, I lived in Shepherds Bush with a bunch of housemates, including a married couple, a young homesexual, a budding entrepreneur, and a Kiwi before the Spanish cousin turned up. 

It was pretty normal stuff.

We were all what might be described in those days as young urban professionals, though my housemates had all attended better schools, and spoke better than I.

They were never condescending in my memory.

I think I had my first dinner party there, and a brother(in law?) of the married couple remarked as I stood up from the dinner party table. 

'You seem very statuesque Charles', or words to that effect.

I'd never heard the word Statuesque used before, but I could kind of figure-it-out, and so the memory of the word has always been imprinted on my mind.

If I was to stick to the subject of Statues in Southampton, there are only three I'm well researched on. 

One is Palmerston, who is a big effing deal in the follies of England. 

The other is Sir Isaac Watts, and the last I wont mention.

Sir Isaac wrote hymns, in a time when hymn writing and singing was very popular.

Isaac Watts (17 July 1674 – 25 November 1748) was an English Christian minister (Congregational), hymn writer, theologian, and logician. He was a prolific and popular hymn writer and is credited with some 750 hymns. He is recognized as the "Godfather of English Hymnody"; many of his hymns remain in use today and have been translated into numerous languages.

I read up on Isaac and his Southampton connection, but what really intrigued me was his contribution to William Blake's work, and thus Jim Morrison.

A couple of years ago, when I was researching Southampton statues, I formulated an hypothesis(sic). 

I determined that either we left nothing or kept everything, with respect to Statues.

Back in those heady days of 2018 or maybe 17, I thought let's keep them all. Even the genocider and well expensed.... Winnie sodomized cadets at Sandhurst, Churchill.

I've changed my mind.

Tear them all down. 

They are an obscenity to the study of history.
