Peace In Ukraine

There's no doubt in my mind that Russia can be provoked into declaring war on the UK and/or the US or just NATO as a whole. Each time we up the ante with more tanks, depleted uranium shells and longer range missiles the unthinkable gets closer and closer.

This is not an opinion I've had since the conflict started, this goes back to when I was studying Edgar Cayce's work. Back in the day I took an entheogen called Dimethyltryptamine, did the hyperspace thing, got shown a few things by; let's call them beings, though they were mostly human and certainly all humanoid.

After that it was like someone had released the kraken. My research and writing output went through the roof that year of 2011.

I was doing 18 hour days studying information that has long since been scrubbed from the internet by the very same incorporated forces who want to smash Russia and plunder her resources.

I know I have no influence or ability to persuade people who, despite knowing nothing about the Minsk agreements, the shelling of Donbass, the mini holocaust in Odessa or the biolabs or the provocations or the Kagan family and Straussian dogma on Russia and how much this has been on the cards since I first started writing about it in 2014.

However, if you're convinced Ukraine is the victim and not another NATO proxy war, watch the video clips above and see what you can do to work towards peace because that's the only destination we all need now. How that's done, I don't know but I'm not calling for any escalation, and like the British in Northern Ireland, I know how insoluble ethnic minority groups in different parts of a union can be the tinder for centuries of misery.

Brand New Interview - Graham Hancock - Mauro Biglino & The Elohim

Other than that, Mauro Biglino has provided us with updated information with respect to this fresh-off-the cloud video interview that was much more surprising than I ever thought imaginable.

Birmingham Royal Ballet - Swan Lake

I haven't been to the ballet since Paquita, by the Ballet de l'Opera national de Paris in Beijing, 2008. You can read that linked review if you wish but at the time I couldn't tell the full story as I was a career-focused guy and this blog was mainly for advertising professionals. Well, I got stoned before heading out to the ballet at the Egg cultural centre. I lived just off Tiananmen square, and hopped onto my electric bike to see the show. I was just a smidge too stoned and miscalculated the time I'd need to take a different route around the square than usual, so I was the last person to arrive at the theatre. The ushers at the end of a long corridor were beckoning me wildly to move my ass as the show was just about to begin, so I legged it down the corridor and they let me in, closing the doors behind me.

I was high, out of breath, heart beating wildly, and as I looked around the theatre, the entire Beijing audience turned to gaze at me disapprovingly, knowing full well it was me that had held things up. I had a really good centre seat ticket, so half an entire row had to stand up to let me get there, while I apologised profusely. I sat down and the ballet began immediately. 

I'd heard that sometimes performers will choose a person in the crowd to play to on a personal level, to bring out the best and most sincere dramatization, and that night, I was that guy. The lead dancer, a beautiful Parisienne based swan looked at me straight in the eye all night, even to the last pirouette where she gracefully collapsed to the stage floor, arms open looking at me.

It is here Siegfried is amazed to see a swan change into the beautiful Odette played by the magnetically tall and exquisitely gifted Yijing Zhang. There was a time when I was training as a gymnast that I did ballet to improve balance, elegance and control. I regret not taking it up professionally. I would have been good. How good? In these days of the obesity pandemic it's heart lifting to see beautifully formed men and women during ballet. Tyrone's strength raising up Yijing is a sight to behold. Lord of the Dance

I first heard this rendition of Lord of the Dance 11 weeks ago during the musical intermission of a podcast. I don't think I've heard it for three or four decades, and it celebrates an unanswered question I've long held that is absent in all three of the Abrahamic faiths. 

The Torah, Bible and Quran are empty on human warmth, such as our God given and divine ability to laugh, embrace, sing, dance, hug, write, draw and play musical instruments.

It's took me 10 weeks to track down. I tried to find it from memory by jumping around YouTube versions, but nothing was quite hitting the spot. It's the bass singer that makes it memorable.

Eventually I found the recording by trawling through the archives, and then played it to my phone to get the details. It's The Salisbury Cathedral Choir.

Along the way I came across a name stealers version on Radio 3. Have a listen if you can to Aaron Copeland 

It's the same right? I did a bit of digging and the melody was originally written by J Bracketts and called "Simple Gifts". It's a Shaker song written and composed in 1848, generally attributed to Elder Joseph Brackett from Alfred Shaker Village.

However, if you go to Aaron Copeland's website, he takes the credit for the work, and is awarded musical prizes and everything, yet makes no mention of the writer of the music. Look at him. An avuncular chap like him nicking someone's work and grafting the Shaker theme into the ballet he premiered it with.
