Power To The People
For people everywhere but in particular the peoples of Bahrain and Egypt who are getting shafted by US foreign policy of putting their selfish needs before the needs of ordinary humans. The perpetual war central banking model of empire.

1969
When I see the Anglo celebrity obsession in this day and age, I"m convinced that the British are still fucking peasants as far as I can see.

Michael Talbot - The Holographic Universe (As Above, So Below)
The more I study the new physics model including much of the holographic universe, the more I find it all hangs together in a way that the paradox of the standard model and quantum mechanics makes increasingly irrelevant. The materialist science junkies are relegated to smashing things up into smaller and smaller (metaphysical?) pieces while all the cool kids like Nassim Haramein and Jay Weidner are weaving them together into toroidal shaped vortexes of beauty and harmony.
Michael Talbot died prematurely from a rare cancer, and falls into that group of thinkers who challenged the materialist message sold by consumer fetishism's priests and scientists. People like John Lennon, Bob Marley and Bill Hicks who also died early, and for whom I question the nature of their death.
Remember: Study hard, work harder, consume as hard as you can and borrow hardest. Never question the premise of it all.

1969
1969 was an ace year. There was Woodstock, Apollo 11 and man first walking on the moon. The first Boing 747 and Concorde flight, test tube fertilisation of human eggs, The Beatles last gig on Apple Records rooftop, John & Yoko conducting their Bed-In, the Stonewall Riots, and the introduction of the ATM as well as the opening of the Beijing Subway, the mass anti Vietnam War demonstrations and don't forget the first message between two computers through Arpanet the forerunner of the internet.
Well anyway I'm biased and so it seems are Kappa. I couldn't resist this just in case the last few posts were a bit too serious, and even though Lauren doesn't like my Puff Charlie look. But the way I see it 1969 is so close to the 70's which is just a mere extension of and adjacent to the 80's. Doddsy knows all about all of them anyway. He was there man.

Mark Piper/Captain Pipes - RIP
Pipes however was notoriously prickly, and kept himself to himself in the main when working furiously on lots of new business at HHCL that he won including Egg and Go (The Low Cost Airline). I was on the receiving end of his sharp tongue on occasions and it was very sobering. He was at the same time a rock and roll star both in the meeting and off the pitch I will remember him at his most happy on his speedboat L'Etranger which I later learned was swapped for a more peaceful and to my mind more enjoyable, sailing lifestyle. I never saw that period of his life while I was in Asia.
Pipes' big send off is next Tuesday at St Marys Church, Draycott Terrace, Chelsea on Tuesday 20th November at 11.50. Drinks after at The Coopers Arms in Flood Street from 1.30 onwards.
Thanks for the ride Mark.
Working Class Hero
by John Lennon
As soon as you're born they make you feel small
By giving you no time instead of it all
Till the pain is so big you feel nothing at all
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be
They hurt you at home and they hit you at school
They hate you if you're clever and they despise a fool
Till you're so fucking crazy you can't follow their rules
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be
When they've tortured and scared you for twenty odd years
Then they expect you to pick a career
When you can't really function you're so full of fear
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be
Keep you doped with religion and sex and TV
And you think you're so clever and class less and free
But you're still fucking peasants as far as I can see
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be
There's room at the top they are telling you still
But first you must learn how to smile as you kill
If you want to be like the folks on the hill
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be
If you want to be a hero well just follow me
If you want to be a hero well just follow me
