B.K.S. Iyengar who brought Yoga to the West died yesterday. Even in his native India he found that he was ridiculed more than a wandering mendicant but over the decades Yoga has returned to countless millions of lives around the world as a simple and spiritual process that requires no gym, no equipment and stretches the body and mind in ways that pumping iron simply has no interest in doing.
I will be incorporating a few more of these Hatha Yoga moves into my daily Yoga.
