Despite what is officially espoused, the people in power from the Nazi's to the American empire are serious about the use of occult symbolism. They don't share those beliefs, preferring instead to use the media matrix to program consumers to disabuse anything that isn't scientific materialism. As long as the sleeping populations are doing as they are told and questioning nothing they are less likely to understand why these ancient signs stretching back into the dawn of astro-theology are as effective as the measurably and repeatable scientific materialist dogmatism.
